Hot Rod Flames

Flames that might appear on the side of a hot rod or similar. Made in Inkscape with some fairly simple curves, inset and outset shadows made manually by duplicating the base layer and moving slightly then using the path -> difference tool, a few layers with gradients to make the yellow glows, and finally a mask to make the left side a soft edge. Drawn for a friend to overlay behind a surfer in an action photo.
