Lady in Underwear

It's funny how under garments from past eras look like they could be outside close in modern eras. Even the classic Japanese kimono started out as underwear! Fashion is a fascinating beast.

I also wonder why this lady is holding a stocking when she is already wearing some. I guess she is thinking about changing her stockings?
