Jean-Jacques Dessalines

This is Jean-Jacques Dessalines, one of the founding fathers of Haiti and the leader of the Haitian Revolution. He has a somewhat mixed history, as he is also known for massacring the local white French population, among other things. None the less, his leading of the revolution launched Haiti into the country it is today.
