A simple guide on how to use inkscape's render/parametric curves extension to plot a golden spiral.
Text is not converted to paths so you can copy/paste the formula.
X-Function: cos(t*2*pi)*1000*pow(((pow(5,0.5)-1)/8),t)
Y-Function: sin(t*2*pi)*1000*pow(((pow(5,0.5)-1)/8),t)
