Writing News

Writing news is a brilliant way to help out let people know what is happening in the project, how they others can contribute, and blogging about press about the project. We are taking a rather distributed approach to writing the news -- you blog on your site, and Open Clip Art Library has software which aggegrates your post into our planets.

There are two news planets for the project:

• http://planet.openclipart.org/news - Specific news for Open Clip Art Library
• http://planet.openclipart.org/ - anything under the sun from people working in and around the project, including the news.

If you would like have your blog added, then send:

• Your desired name (as it should appear)
• Your blog URL:
  • If you would like to be included in the specific news, then send your specific blog feed URL like: http://rejon.org/tag/openclipart/feed and then blog specific Open Clip Art Library posts with that tag/category.
• Send a hackergotchi image that represents you at 80 pixel by 80 pixel png image.

Make sure to mention that it is to be considered for inclusion to the news feed and/or to the general feed. For the general feed, we will just use your general feed url like http://rejon.org/feed
