Woodtype manicule

An old, large manicule I found in a copy of the typographic catalog Specimens of type faces, stock cuts, initials, logotypes, etc. (John Polhemus Printing Co., New York, 1895).

It's a bit of an oddball, since most of the types in the book are electrotyped on metal, while this one seems to be carved in wood.
